Our History
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, our journey began in New York City in the mid-1990s when we were established as Phillips Technology Services. We initially served clients in the entertainment sector, providing specialized IT solutions. In 2010, we relocated to St. Louis and became St. Louis IT Solutions, LLC, a name chosen to reflect our new home. In St. Louis, we developed strong ties with the legal community, and our reputation for friendly, reliable service led us to rebrand as Amicus IT.
Making IT Accessible and Responsive
Amicus IT was created to address two key challenges facing businesses in the IT landscape: The inaccessibility of enterprise-level tools; and the lack of responsiveness from IT providers. We recognized that the advanced solutions used by Fortune 500 companies were often out of reach for smaller organizations. Additionally, many IT companies fail to provide timely support to their clients. To overcome these barriers, we built long-lasting relationships with vendors and leveraged economies of scale by bundling our clients’ needs. This approach enables us to offer all businesses the powerful tools and services typically reserved for large enterprises.
